I've had a bad experience with the dentist Maddy Cham, if I could I would give her less than 0 stars, she does not listen nor care for her patients.My dentist at the same practice left, so they shift me to her. She replaced a temporary filling with a permament one in April/May, the temporary filling had a big gap between that tooth and the next one so I have asked to fill that in when she did the permanent, but no she left a huge gap and food still get stuck in there and irritates the gum.However this wasn't the reason why I wanted to give her a bad review, in the first place.But because she sent me to the WRONG SPECIALISTS, I have asked her to write a referral for a GUM SPECIALIST and she sent me to a ROOT CANAL specialist, to save an old crown that I DID NOT want to save, and I told her clearly, but she must have forgotten since she wrote the referral 2 weeks after my appointment and after I called her.(I talked to the receptionist on the phone and I said that I needed a referral for a GUM SPECIALIST from Maddy. I did not know the technical term, but she should have known since I told her during my appointment)So I wated 3 weeks, went to Perth, spent 185$ to sit 3min and realise that I was in the wrong place. (I got shown Maddy's email where she says that she said to me that it wasn't worth it to save this crown, BUT I WAS SO KEEN that she had to send me to him) When I called her she blamed me and whoever was at the reception then.Then, she said she was going to write a new referral, and that they were going to send me the details straight away, but nothing, I had to call again the next day.I managed to get an appointment with the right specialist in another 3 weeks.This stupid joke, a part from all the money that I had wasted, it is costing me a lot of time, and a big delay for a trip that I have been organising with my partner for while.Now on top of that, the filling that she has done 3months ago, with that huge gap just fell off, and if I wasn't happy before, now I am very angry.Look out people and do yourself a favour, just go somewhere else.

I am terrified of any dental work. Had to go today had 2 teeth pulled plus roots from another broken tooth that were still there. The dentist Harry Tjoa was brilliant understanding and always checked to see if I was alright. The dental nurse was amazing to. Would recommend to anyone. Even took out the extra teeth while doing the one I was having problems with which was good as I wouldn't of gone back until I was in unbearable pain. Thank you very much

I'm very happy with my experiences here. I hadn't been to a dentist in maybe 3-5 years as it was hard to find an dentist that was high quality in their services without over-servicing as well. Therefore, I have been quite apprehensive to even go to the dentist due to some lower quality experiences. However, I had tooth pain so I knew I needed to be seen. After recommendation from a family member I booked in here.The status of my teeth and treatments needed were clearly explained to me and I have been able to have a quote for all services provided. I was made to feel comfortable about how I booked in (eg. waiting for my private health to replenish) without any judgement. Treatments were made suitable for my needs as well.Reception staff/dental nurses are polite and welcoming. Silvia is my dentist and I cannot recommend her enough. She is very reassuring and kind which is helpful to make me feel comfortable. If you are someone that is nervous with dental procedures, I recommend booking in with her as her approach is wonderful and also gentle, ensuring patient comfort and ease. She also provides an excellent standard of quality dental care. Thank you so much! The dental room is also made to be a calming atmosphere.. lovely window and TV.Also very good COVID-19 precautions taken and a clean and nicely decorated practice. Thank you very much, I feel better about coming to the dentist more often now I have found one that is good once again. A note - I have AHM private insurance and they accept that at this dentist as at July 2022.

If I would give Dr Jessica Davidson a million starts I would. She is so calm, clean and gentle.Stumbling across Pioneer Health Dental when I moved here and being assigned to Dr Jessica has been the biggest blessing.I have had problem teeth all of my life from simple fillings, to a broken tooth, to wisdom teeth and Jess has persisted to get everything tidied up and my teeth the best they have ever been.I am so greatful to Jess and also the last oral hygienist (I think named Jillian, who sadly recently left) for constantly encouraging and supporting me with my oral health.Not to mention the ladies at the front desk being so warm, welcoming and professional.It is a pleasure to come in to visit you all and something I actually now look forward too.

I broke a tooth and the receptionist put me on a cancellation list. I received a call back in less than 15mins and saw the Dentist 30mins later. The result was to get the tooth capped. Because the staff knew I was on holiday (not a WA resident) and my time was limited, they advised the dental technicians and the cap arrived in less than the normal 2 weeks. Sylvia, the Dentist, was so lovely during my 3 appointments and extremely competent. I have never been so relaxed while having dental work. The Dental staff and ladies at reception desk we're all friendly and understanding. They are all a credit to Pioneer Dental.

Broke a front tooth. Rang on Saturday morning and was seen within the hour. Friendly staff and super happy with results. Can’t even notice where my tooth knocked out! Thank you again Silvia.

I am so upset with the con that has occurred when they manipulate people into joining this practice. Now no longer a HBF Dental Provider in this town their fees are creating much angst with new procedures and as many of us pensioners are finding, it is extremely difficult to find an alternative dentist without going through the issues of time periods.My suggestion is look at the HBF website for the Perth or Albany region, plan visits and book ahead.I feel betrayed and treated with contempt by this practice and the explanation they had provided me.I want to believe in Karma.

We as patients of a few years are very disappointed that they did not notify their clients of the change. We will no longer be able to receive the full rebate on our treatment from HBF, the reason we moved from our last Dental practice! As pensioners we find it difficult to continue with still covering our medical insurance, now if we wish to continue using this dental practice we will have to find more money. Sorry to say we w ill be changing practices, shame because everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Hope you enjoy your contract with BUPA and you find enough clients.
